How to use an AI interviewer so practice actually sticks

An AI interviewer only helps if you treat sessions like real rounds — not like chatting for tips. This guide shows a weekly loop that turns reports into better answers.

·8 min read

1. Pick one interview type per week

Behavioral, technical, visa, or admissions — do not mix goals in the same session. Clarity of intent makes feedback usable.

2. Speak out loud under time pressure

Typing answers into a chatbot is not interview practice. Use voice, accept awkward pauses, and finish the session even when you stumble.

3. Rewrite from the report within 24 hours

Convert weaknesses into rewritten stories or talking points while the session is fresh. Then book another AI mock interview within two days.

4. Track two metrics only

Follow-up difficulty and answer length. If follow-ups drop and answers tighten while scores rise, the loop is working.
